Hiroshi Senju

1958 Born in Tokyo.
Completed Ph.D. program in Japanese Fine Arts at Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music.
1995 Won the Best Painting Award at the 46th Venice Biennale for the first time as an Asian artist.
2002 Completed Fusuma Murals of Juko-in in Daitoku Temple.
2003 Created a 25-meter high mural in Grand Hyatt Tokyo.
2004 Produced art work in Terminal 2 of Tokyo International Airport.
2005 Provided art work to the Noh stage in EXPO 2005 Aichi Japan.
Engaged in the Lexus L-fines exhibition in Milan Salon as the art director.
2006 Kang-ju Biennale (Kang-ju, South Korea).
Naoshima Standard 2 Exhibition (Chichu Art Museum in Kagawa).
2007 Completed Shofuso Fusuma Murals (Philadelphia, USA).
Other various exhibitions were held.
